The impact of intellectual property protection on business performance of high-tech enterprises: The mediating effect of political-business relations

摘要
The purpose of this paper is to study the mediating role of political-business relationship in the business efficiency of high-tech firms in terms of intellectual property protection. We find that: the improvement of the quality level of IPR protection implementation environment can promote the growth of business performance benefits; the political-business relationship can have a sup-pressive effect on the business performance benefits; the level of IPR protection implementation environment quality can promote the business performance benefits of high-tech enterprises under the mediating effect of political-business relationship, but there is a masking effect of this mediating effect.
