摘要
Local food systems have been promoted by the civil society as an ecological alternative to the hegemonic agri-food system. The environmental crisis, as well as the institutional acknowledgment of these food alternatives, have led the French legislator to the positivization of food relocalisation, in article 111-2-2 of the French Rural Code, known as projet alimentaire territorial. This paper presents a legal analysis of the projets alimentaires territoriaux as a tool that aims to encompass environmental protection in every stage of the agri-food chain, in an effort to support the ecological transition of agri-food law. The purpose of this paper is to raise awareness of this novel legal tool of food relocalisation, as well as its close relationship to the French legislation against climate change.
