摘要
A reflective essay is guided on the research processes with children in situations of social vulnerability and/or who had their rights violated. We were theoretically and methodologically inspired by the theory of Salutogenesis and the metaphor of the River of Life. Empirically, as sources of reports, we rely on textual productions made by children assisted in a social project in Manaus, Amazonas, Brazil. The right to speech and image production goes through processes that are not only investigative, but also empowering children. Thus, we propose horizontal investigations, recognizing children as social actors, capable of representing their worlds in search of resignifying them.
