摘要
The First Turkish Lunar Mission is an ongoing space research mission of the Space Technologies Research Institute of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkiye (TUBITAK UZAY) under the National Space Program coordinated by Turkish Space Agency (TUA). The mission will be the first of a two phase program which will perform a Lunar orbit acquisition, carry out scientific observations and attain hard landing on the lunar surface as part of its main objectives. In this paper, Total Ionizing Dose (TID) levels are predicted for the First Turkish Lunar Mission. For this, SPENVIS and OMERE, space radiation analysis software, are utilized. The TID levels resulting from the analysis are provided with respect to various thicknesses. The calculations indicate that TID levels are at acceptable values, hence not posing a significant risk to the mission.
