摘要
With the growing global warming and energy issues, gas separation like carbon capture and hydrogen purification are becoming increasingly important. Membrane separation technology has been preferred in gas separation due to its economic, energy-saving and environmental characteristics. As a membrane preparation method that is easy to scale up and regulate in the industry, the interfacial polymerization (IP) process has seen significant advancements in the preparation of gas separation membranes in recent years. This review summarizes the basic principles of the IP process for gas separation. In particular, the application of the IP process in the preparation of CO2 capture membranes, H2 purification membranes, and other gas system separation membranes is outlined for the first time, and its regulation methods are also summarized. Finally, the prospect of gas separation membrane prepared by the IP process is put forward. It is expected that this review could provide new ideas for the preparation of novel IP materials with high gas separation performance, thereby facilitating the wider application of the IP process in gas separation.
