摘要
Using a survey on menopause, this study aims to examine whether women feel that gender stereotypes and prejudices persist in the current social context or whether structural changes can be detected. To this end, the evolution of the concept and construction of the image of menopause in two types of ideologically marked discourses that reveal the evolution of society are analysed: dictionaries and press sources. The results show that gender prejudices and negative assumptions persist in perceptions of menopause.
