摘要
This article presents the design of a mobile application supported by an ontology of the terminology and words of daily use in Colombia. In this research, the implementation of ontological engineering allows defining the represen-tation vocabulary for the domain of Colombian slang, which represents conceptual elements and the relationships between terms. The METHONTOLOGY framework was used, as well as the SPARQL semantic query language for term inference and translation. As a final result, the app allows for the interpretation of terms and facilitates commu-nication between people from different regions in Colombia. In addition, the app is integrated with the instant mes-saging service of the Twitter social network.
