摘要
The five-axis hybrid machine tools combine the advantages of serial and parallel mechanisms, allowing the tool to perform five degrees of freedom (DOFs) motion at high speeds to efficiently process complex parts. However, when the performances of the feed axes in the five-axis hybrid machine tool are different, it can result in significant contour errors. A servo matching method is proposed to reduce contour errors in this paper. First, by modeling and simplifying the servo system, the mechanism for single-axis tracking error is revealed, and a servo response index is proposed. Second, the mechanism of the tool contour error is revealed through kinematics. Finally, a servo detection trajectory and a servo matching method are proposed. The servo detection trajectory enables each feed axis to execute the same command. Through trajectory testing, parameter identification, parameter adjustment, and testing validation, servo matching is completed. Experimental results demonstrate the correctness of the error mechanism and the effectiveness of servo matching in reducing contour errors.
