摘要
The influence of low heating rates on recrystallization of Al-Mg alloys was investigated as a complement to the theory of recrystallization related to heating rates. Different from the recrystallization of Al-Mg alloy at high heating rates, the starting recrystallization tem-perature Ts at 5 degrees C/min was observed to be higher than that at 10-20 degrees C/min. Combined with previous studies, a three-stage evolution of Ts verse heating rates was first proposed. With the heating rate increasing, Ts decreases in the range of 5 degrees C/min to rc2, increases in the range of rc2 to rc, and finally decreases when heating rate is higher than rc. The evo-lution of Ts was discussed to be dominated by the competition between recovery and recrystallization. Massive consumption of stored energy would reduce the driving force of recrystallization, which leads to the delay of recrystallization at low heating rates. (c) 2022 The Author(s).
