摘要
Background: The goal of the research was to analyze the stigmatization factors that have an impact on the experience of people with drug addictions and to know harm reduction methods and strategies that help in managing the problematic situation of drug addicts. Methods: Qualitative research was used to assess the forms of stigmatization that participants feel most often, to recognize and identify the impact of stigmatization on the personal experience of drug users and to analyze the basic strategies of the harm reduction method for drug users in the post-pandemic period. Results: We can clearly see that there is a relationship between mental and physical well-being and stigmatizing factors that contribute to the negative image of people with drug addictions. Stigmatization affects not only a person's experience, but also the close family environment. Conclusion: Stigmatized drug addicts have very close and close contact with field social workers and street workers, who provide them with various forms and methods of harm reduction in their unfavorable life situations. What is important is the approach, the personality of people who provide a safety net for people with drug addictions.
