This article explores the challenges of an offshore, renewables high-voltage and materials laboratory from receipt of test samples through testing until, ultimately, the dissection of the test object. This article in the "A Day in the life of a __ laboratory" series introduces the entire process from sampling to reporting requirements with references to advanced test and analytical equipment, testing techniques, and sector drivers.
