摘要：

3,3 '-(1,4-Phenylene)bis[1-(4-R-phenyl)-5-phenyl-5,6-dihydro-1,2,4,5-tetrazinium] perchlorates have been transformed into stable tetrazinyl biradicals by the action of D-glucose in a slightly alkaline medium (NH4OH) in the presence of air oxygen. The tetrazinyl biradicals have been isolated in the individual state and characterized by means of cyclic voltammetry and elemental analysis as well as IR, UV, and ESR spectroscopy.
