摘要
Underwater wireless LED communication system emerges as an optimistic technique to enhance the capacity of underwater wireless communication networks for future generation. Major technical problem with moving underwater wireless LED communication system is tracking, pointing and acquisition. To ease these problems, it is important to steer optical information data over extensive range and adjust the transmitter aperture area according to the link condition and the amount of pointing error. In this paper, performance comparison among wide range of transmittance aperture area in underwater wireless LED transmission system for high-speed communication is presented for PIN and Avalanche photodiode. The effect of using variable transmittance aperture area on the bit-error rate, signal-to-noise ratio, communication link distance is also studied. OptiSystem is used to implement the underwater wireless LED transceiver system. Finally, it is shown in the paper that in the presence of pointing errors, adaptive transmittance aperture area affects the performance of 1Gbps Underwater wireless LED communication system.
