摘要
Many countries around the world are experiencing a seismic shift in the pace of their energy transitions. Our power systems are being directly impacted by decarbonization, digitization, and decentralization. This shift is being accelerated through a complex range of societal, technological, economic, and commercial factors. Among other countries, Australia is at the forefront of answering many critical questions of relevance to the international energy community. While the underlying physics of power systems is universal, the challenges that need to be overcome to navigate this transition differ depending on the size, layout, and makeup of every power system. The speed of transition and rate at which challenges need to be addressed and overcome will vary by country.
