摘要
The article proposes a conceptual perspective of green infrastructure (GI) to suit the context of informal settlements in the Global South. The paper provides an integrative literature review, which deconstructs and interweaves the concepts of green infrastructure and infrastructure of informal settlements to achieve a new cognitive structure. The literature on GI has not produced theoretical tools to facilitate the integration of informal settlements into urban environmental management agendas. Alternatively, the concepts of assemblage, entrepreneurial slum, and informal infrastructure can help to better understand GI in this context.
