A primer on nipple-areola complex reconstruction using a skate flap with areola graft is shared. This is particularly useful for the breast/plastic surgery trainee navigating skills acquisition in the procedure given the plethora of techniques available. Familiarity with a number of techniques, including this technique, is suggested as there are potential benefits for different clinical situations.
