摘要
We study aperiodic stochastic resonance (ASR) in a biased monostable system that subjected to different weak aperiodic pulse signals and strong noise. It is found that the biased monostable system has a unique advantage compared with the bistable system in processing the weak aperiodic pulse signals. The effects of noise, the system parameters and the iteration step in the calculation on ASR are investigated in detail. The results show that ASR caused by a certain noise intensity is more obvious, and there are the best system parameters and iterative step to obtain the optimal output of ASR. Because the shape of the biased monostable system and the height of the potential well change, it can be fine-tuned from more angles to achieve an optimal output. As an application in industry, we can consider the weak damage signal of wire rope which is a typical weak aperiodic pulse signal in the noise background. Both the theoretical and application study verify the importance of ASR in the biased monostable system.
