This paper presents the calculations of the cross section for the capture of solar neutrinos s(E-?) by Mo-100 nuclei. In the calculations, both the experimental data on the strength function S(E) obtained in charge-exchange reactions (He-3, t) and the functions S(E) calculated within the self-consistent theory of finite Fermi systems are used. The effect of the resonance structure of S(E) on the calculated capture cross section of solar neutrinos is studied, and the contributions of each resonance to the cross section s(E-?) of capture by a Mo-100 nucleus are determined. The contribution of all components of the solar neutrino spectrum is calculated. The contribution of background solar neutrinos to the double beta decay of Mo-100 nuclei is estimated.
