摘要
Eye-hand coordination is the ability of our vision system to coordinate the information received through the eyes to control, guide, and direct the hands in the accomplishment of a task. This paper presents a system based on serious games aiming to improve the assessment and rehabilitation of eye-hand coordination ability. On one side, a gameplay based on drawing specific patters (labyrinths) is implemented to capture the hand trajectories to assess the eye-hand coordination. The user can draw the path using the mouse or a stylus with a tablet. On the other side, the rehabilitation paradigm is based on controlling the videogame and driving a ball by using a robotic device. The proposed system aims to contribute in developing a high-resolution metric for measuring the eye-hand coordination in neurorehabilitation.
