摘要
PurposeHybrid nanofluids meet the necessities of several technological and production industries. Owing to these ample applications, a numerical investigation is accomplished to examine the thermal transmission feature of magneto-hybrid nanofluid flow due to an extending surface of varied thickness with multiple slip effects.Design/methodologyThe arising system of Partial Differential equations (PDEs) are exercised by adopting suitable similarities to attain the non-dimensional Ordinary Differential equations (ODEs) and the solutions are obtained by implementing bvp5c built in MATLAB package. The energy equation is loaded with Brownian motion, thermophoresis and Joule heating effects. The implication of pertinent constraints upon the flow features is discussed graphically.FindingsThe outcomes imply that the energy transmission rate is considerably high in no-slip case as equated with the slip case. Further, the power-law index parameter effectively uplifts the thermal and concentration gradients in both the situations.OriginalityThe prime motive of this research is to present the relative analysis of heat transmission of hybrid nanoliquid in two different situations, namely slip and no-slip cases.
