摘要
The growing awareness of global warming and environmental pollution problems due to the massive emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2), as well as energy consumption, is pushing manufacturers to convert their production towards sustainable strategies. Despite the research efforts to date, work on addressing feature interactions for applications in green manufacturing is still very lacking, especially those based on CAD/CAM systems. In this study, important technologies for eco-design and sustainable manufacturing processes are combined, from machining operations to improvements in production techniques, while taking into account the reduction of the Environmental Impact (EI) that causes pollution. A sustainable manufacturing method is proposed. It uses feature sequence technology based on feature interaction technology to perform EI evaluation on the machining process in manufacturing engineering stages based on CAD/CAM systems to improve the environmental quality of process planning. Finally, the feasibility of the methodology and the algorithm are illustrated by a case study.
