摘要
The ability to estimate the phase offset introduced by a quantum channel is an essential functionality of designing the receiver of a quantum wireless communication or remote-sensing system. Although the foundational theory of quantum phase estimation has been well known for years, appropriate engineering implementation remains an open problem. Assuming transmitting classic information through a quantum channel, after a series of investigations, we suggest that quantum-classic implementation of quantum optical circuitry and classic statistical analysis serves a promising engineering implementation, not only for estimation of small phase offset but also for acquisition of larger phase offset.
