摘要
The through-transus processing is appearing as a promising technology for near - titanium alloy, and it has been received the attention for its excellent microstructure and mechanical properties. In this research, tensile anisotropy of TC17 disk fabricated by the through-transus processing is evaluated along three different directions. The specimen, making an angle of 45 degrees with the radius direction (ID), shows the maximum strength 1150 MPa and minimum elongation 7.8%. The strength drops to a minimum value of 1018 MPa and an intermediate elongation value of 10.4% along axial direction (AD). Along the radius direction (RD), the strength decreases to 1083 MPa, and the elongation reaches to a maximum value of 13.1%. The strength anisotropy is determined by the orientation distribution of b phase, strengthening of the grain boundary and the intragranular structure. As for the ductility anisotropy, the analysis is carried out according to the effective slip length model. The crack nucleation resistance and the crack propagation resistance are discussed, separately, which makes this model more perfect. Microtexture evolution indicates that the maximum texture strengthening is obtained in ID specimen revealed by maximum orientation intensity, and a sharp increase is observed for zeta fiber.
