摘要
Memory clinics are specialized and multidisciplinary centers for the (early) detection of dementia and share common elements in diagnostic and therapeutical procedures. However, the different institutional conditions and thematic priorities may also result in different clinical routines. Numerous well-established cognitive tests are available for the neuropsychological assessment of cognitive functions in (suspected) dementia. However, there are no homogeneous standards for the neuropsychological diagnostic process as well as a consensus test battery. The results of an online survey among 28 centers of the German Network of Memory Clinics (DNG) reveal the current state of clinical practice in neuropsychological dementia assessment and may - on the basis of the guidelines derived here - be used for a harmonization process between memory clinics.
