摘要
Adequate, sustainable, and healthy housing is studied in eleven cities of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec, Oaxaca, with more than 15,000 inhabitants, since their family and collec-tive spaces require attention. Objective: to analyze the well-being of housing in the cities of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec. Hypothesis: housing provides a high level of well-being, favoring the sustainable development of the cities in the region. Methodology: it com-bines SWOT analysis with quantitative statistical and index network analysis with docu-mentary information. Results: housing is statistically strongly associated with sustainable development, its strengths predominate over its weaknesses in small, medium and large cities, but they show a low level of well-being and the level of sustainable development achieved in the cities is low. Conclusions: there is high vulnerability derived from hous-ing for the population; all the cities of the Isthmus of Tehuantepec require support to strengthen it in all its dimensions.
