摘要
Creativity is a crucial 21st century skill that can be developed, learned, and improved, yet it is not given much attention in undergraduate curricula The objective of this work is to analyze the correlations between creative self-efficacy, perfectionism, and psychological distress in first-year university students, and to analyze whether the aforementioned variables can predict creative self-efficacy. Method: based on these objectives, a sample of 463 first-year university students between the ages of 18 and 25, residents of the City of Buenos Aires (CABA) and Greater Buenos Aires (GBA), was formed, who answered a sociode-mographic questionnaire, the Almost Perfect Scale-Revised (APS-R), [31], the Creative Self-efficacy Scale (CSES) and the Shortened Depression, Anxiety, and Stress Scale (DASS-21). Results: significant relationships were found between the three variables and 4 predictors of creative self-efficacy. Discussion: the results were discussed in relation to previous studies, limitations, and recommendations for future lines of research are pointed out.
