摘要
Single-molecule fluorescent microscopy (SMFM) has proved to be a powerful imaging tool for in situ monitoring catalytic reactions on individual nanocatalysts with high spatiotemporal resolution. In this perspective, we give a brief summary of applications of SMFM in nanocatalysis, including chemocatalysis, photocatalysis, and en-ergy-related electrochemical processes. Then, we highlight the emerging perspectives and remaining challenges in this field. The goal of this perspective is to inspire new ideas for researchers and encourage broader application of such single-molecule technique in energy-related processes.
