摘要
Low -Carbon Transition of the Energy Consumption Structure (LCE) is a strategic priority for reducing carbon emissions and is crucial for national industrial evolution. However, the key factors driving this transformation remain underexplored. This study examines the effects of green credit and green technology innovation on achieving LCE, highlighting regional variations due to different factor systems. It also investigates the threshold values for green credit and green technology innovation that support this transition. Our findings reveal that both green credit and green technology innovation significantly drive LCE. Their combined effect synergistically enhances this transformation. Furthermore, the effectiveness of green credit and green technology innovation in driving LCE is positively linked to the provincial low -carbon transformation index. Identifying optimal thresholds for these factors can significantly boost their combined impact on provincial energy structures. This research expands our understanding of LCE pathways, emphasizing the roles of green credit and green technology innovation, and clarifies the conditions for their effective collaboration.
