摘要
The favorable optoelectronic properties and straightforward fabrication processes of perovskite-based solar cells (PSCs) have led to their emergence as a promising contender for the next generation of photovoltaic (PV) technologies. This thorough review article explores the strategic incorporation of various perovskites nanomaterials including NSs (NSs), NWs (NWs), NRs, quantum dots (QD), nanoparticles, and nanocrystals to further improve the performance of these devices. We provide an extensive analysis of recent developments in PSCs, covering the synthesis procedures, structural layouts, and engineering approaches used to capitalize on these nanomaterials' distinctive properties. These developments result in enhanced light absorption, reduced defects, and improved charge transport within PSCs to enhance the power conversion efficiency (PCE). However, we carefully examine the challenges and opportunities that the incorporation of nanoscale materials into PSC architectures presents. The knowledge presented in this review is meant to be a helpful tool for scientists and engineers who are working to create dependable and effective PSCs. In doing this, we hope to help make clean and renewable energy solutions a reality.
