摘要
The present study focused on enhancing the strength of adhesively bonded single-lap composite joints (ABSLCJ) using different fiber fabrics such as unidirectional and bidirectional glass-fiber, and bidirectional carbon-fiber, under tensile, shear, flexural, and fixed-free vibration. The impregnation of the carbon-fiber fabric in adhesive increases the strength of the joint. In comparison to only adhesive, the adhesive joint carbon-fiber fabric improved the tensile, flexural and stiffness by 23.93 %, 31 %, and 19.6 %.
