摘要
Inherently safer design concepts are not just for the design phase. These concepts can be applied to plants throughout their entire lifecycle. The concepts of inherent safety, where hazards are preferably eliminated rather than accepted and managed, have existed far longer than the chemical process industries (CPI). In fact, these concepts date back to prehistoric times.
