摘要
An ester-imine cage was synthesized from hexapyrrolic tripodal precursor and characterized with NMR spec-troscopy and X-ray crystallography. This novel molecular cage displays good stability in wet organic solvents and exhibits moderate to strong affinity (103-106 M-6) for anions in chloroform. Theoretical calculations support the relative strong binding between the cage and SO42.
