摘要
The appropriate combination of chemically distinct components with polyaniline leads to formation of organic-inorganic hybrid materials with good properties from those that originated and constitute an alternative for the production of new multifunctional materials with wide application. Enhancing the properties of polyaniline through filler incorporation of both nano montmorillonite and nano ferrite was reported here. In presence of nano montmorillonite (32 wt. % of aniline) and different nano MgFe2O4 concentrations (2, 5, 25 and 50 wt.% of aniline), the hybrid composites were synthesized using in situ chemical polymerization method. All polymer hybrid composites samples were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infra-red spectroscopy (FT-IR), Thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), Differential thermal analysis (DTA) and Transmission electron microscope (TEM). All structural characterization confirmed the formation of hybrid composites. The composite containing nano montmorillonite (32 wt.% aniline) and nano MgFe2O4 (50 wt.% of aniline) exhibited good interactions with polymer chains and as a result, good behavior of both thermal, electrical and magnetic properties. The same nano composite sample exhibited the highest AC-conductivity value (O-AC = 1.20 x 10(-2) Omega(-1)cm(-1), at room temperature) compared to the other ones. The bulk conductivity value was of 9 x 10(-3) Omega(-1)cm(-1) at room temperature. Also, the magnetization saturation value (Ms) was of 2.65 emu/g. Here, garnered results demonstrate the potential of fabricated material for energy storage applications.
