The use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies for socioemotional abilities development in elementary schools in the pandemic COVID- 19 context

摘要
The COVID-19 pandemic resulted in the implementation of emergency remote teaching at public and private schools. This explorationqualitative study points to the positive and negative impacts that the use of Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDIC) caused in the development of socioemotional abilities of elementary students in Sao Paulo State. Based on educational theorists and document collection, a Google Forms questionnaire was sent to public and private school teachers, obtaining 32 answers. The results suggested a better sense of organization of students due to digital agendas, schedules, and automatic calendars. It also provided a brainstorming activity composed of 02 mind maps answered by the teachers. The mind maps pointed to the main ideas, active learning with group activities and using games as pedagogical activities to improve social interaction and focus enhancement.
