This article proposes a reflection on the fatigue of living felt by people at very old age. We base ourselves on two clinical situations encountered in Establishments for Dependent Elderly Persons to consider this notion from two different angles. We conclude on the importance of thinking about the fatigue of living to better support people at very old age. (c) 2022 Elsevier Masson SAS. All rights reserved.
