摘要
In this paper, a novel three-dimension Frequency Selective Surface (3D FSS) with an orthogonal diamond-shaped structure is proposed. This FSS has a bandwidth of 1.67 octaves, the stopband and passband of which are DC-0.8GHz and 1.5GHz-2.5GHz, respectively. The frequency response is insensitive to the angle of incidence. The insert losses in the passband for TE and TM polarizations are no more than 0.9dB, as the incidence angle reaches 50 degrees. Moreover, those in the stopband for two orthogonal polarizations are less than 0.64dB. The impact of the 3D FSS on the far-field pattern of the antenna is evaluated. The aberration of the pattern is hardly introduced by this 3D FSS, and the insert losses obtained by the microwave link are consistent with the simulation results calculated by the periodic boundary condition.
