摘要：

The authors have analyzed the features of various distances (metrics) in solving problems of comparing bitstreams. They have considered the application of the proposed methodology using the example of solving the problem of identifying bitstreams of digital speech encoding. The authors have shown that, in this case, the Damerau-Levenshtein metric is the most effective one.
