Hospitalisierte Patienten mit einem schweren COVID-19-Verlauf tragen ein hohes Risiko fur venose Thromboembolien (VTE), dies konnte in Studien gezeigt werden. Demgegenuber ist das VTE-Risiko unter ambulanten COVID-19-Patienten weniger eindeutig definiert. J. Xie et al. haben hierzu neue Daten vorgelegt, Risikofaktoren identifiziert und die Effekte einer Impfung untersucht.
