摘要
Purpose To describe the Single Leg Bridge Test (SLBT) of women's soccer professional athletes. Design and settings Cross-sectional study. On-field assessment. Methods Professional athletes from four elite women's soccer teams enrolled in the First Division Brazilian Women's Soccer Championship. Main outcome measures SLBT score and the limb symmetry index (LSI). Results One hundred twenty-one athletes (two hundred forty-two limbs) took part in this study. They had a SLBT score of 33 +/- 12 repetitions (95% CI 31 to 34 repetitions), ranging from 11 to 70 repetitions. No significant difference was found between dominant and non-dominant limbs (p = 0.816). Athletes presented an LSI of 104 +/- 20% (95% CI 100.2% to 107.4%). SLBT score had no significant correlation with athletes' age, while a poor negative correlation (r < 0.5) was found between SLBT score and athletes' body mass and height. Conclusion This pioneering study identified an average SLBT score of 33 repetitions for women's soccer professional athletes. Despite a diverse range of performance on the SLBT, limb dominance, age, body mass, or height do not strongly correlate with the score.
