摘要：

This article aims to discuss the contributions of artificial intelligence [AI] to tourism, by identifying the most cited subareas. Through a bibliographical review in the Scopus database, 1108 publications were identified, reaching the final selection of 88 articles after applying 5 inclusion criteria. Of these publications, 27 highlighted that the contributions of AI in tourism are directed to areas that address predictions and data processing, while 19 mention contributions to process automation and also robotics, mainly with the use of chatbots for customer service. The results indicate that the tourism sector actively adopts the benefits of AI in its organizational arrangements. However, there are still several unexplored areas with potential for the application of this technology.
