摘要：

1970年代末,美国学术界出现了大量关于记忆的研究,即"记忆潮"(memory boom)。而大约同一时期,公众史学作为历史学的分支开始兴起。两者是否存在某种联系?本文主要探讨在跨学科语境里,集体记忆(collective memory)与公众史学(public history)在城市空间的演绎,深入分析集体记忆、怀旧与城市的多重地域感知,并由此探索集体记忆与公众史学之间的联系对城市历史保护研究的意义。在保护规划中如何聆听各种声音,解读不同的记忆,平衡意见纷争,让历史真正回归公众,是城市公众历史面临的挑战之一。
