The Ministry of Environmental Protectionof China (MEP) passed environmental impact assessment on certain proposed chemical projects this January and February.*The 600 thousand t/a p-xylene project is proposed by Sinopec Hainan Refining & Chemical Co.,Ltd.in Hainan province.
