摘要：
Acute abdominal pain with signs and symptoms ofperitonitis due to sudden extravasation of chyle intothe peritoneal cavity is a rare condition that is oftenmistaken for other disease processes.The diagnosisis rarely suspected preoperatively.We report a caseof spontaneous chylous peritonitis that presentedwith typical symptoms of acute appendicitis such asintermittent fever and epigastric pain radiating to thelower right abdominal quadrant before admission.
