Editor’s Note: CAFIU’s Secretary-General Ni Jian took part in the UN Sustainable Development Conference (Rio+20) held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from June 16 to 21. During the Conference, he also attended and addressed a side meeting of "Poverty-Alleviation and Sustainable Development: Chinese NGOs in Action" hosted by China NGO Network for International Exchanges.
