摘要：

学生评价在美国大众化高等教育中已经成为一个极其核心和重要的概念。"决定学生在大学期间学了什么的学生评价",不仅可以为学生提供一种独特的人生记录,成为社会各界评判高等教育质量和对高等教育进行投资的重要因素,而且也是高等教育知识生产、人才培养和社会服务质量的重要指标之一。目前美国为"促进学生的学习与发展,提高院校的教育效能"在高等教育系统内部已经构建起包括院校、专业和课程等多个层面的学生评价体系。因此,探讨美国高等教育中的学生评价可以成为分析现代高等教育发展的一个重要研究视角和切入点,并为我国高等教育大众化进程中出现的种种问题提供借鉴。
