Identification and genetic analysis of yellow rust resistance have suggested that wheat line R55 carries single dominant gene conferring yellow rust resistance. The bulked segregant analysis (BSA) for an F2 population using microsatellite marker technique has indicated that the yellow rust resistance gene is located on the short arm of chromosome 1B, tightly linked to the
