政府投资对区域经济发展的双门槛效应——基于对交通基础设施投资的分析

摘要：

本文构建了一个包含政府对交通基础设施投资在内的三部门内生增长模型,探寻交通基础设施投资对区域经济发展的作用机理。在此基础上,利用我国1994-2010年的省际面板数据进行实证检验。研究表明,当交通基础设施存量水平达到某一极值后,继续对其投资会显著降低交通基础设施对经济的拉动作用。相反,交通基础设施投资不足也会制约当地经济发展。对此,根据我国东中西部地区的经济发展与交通基础设施需求差异,本文提出政府应该根据各地区的经济社会发展的不同程度进行交通基础设施建设,以满足不同区域经济发展的需要。
