The 11 th meeting of China-Germany Standardization Working Group on Intelligent Manufacturing/Industry 4.0 was held both on site and virtually on July 13. The event, organized by SAMR, SAC, MIIT and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy(BMWi) of Germany, was attended by more than 100 representatives from standardization bodies, associations, research institutions and enterprises in both countries. The experts from the working group introduced the progress of Guidelines on the Construction of National Intelligent Manufacturing Standards System(2021) and Standardization Roadmap for Industry 4.0 in Germany(5 th edition). They also reported on the latest cooperation achievements in the seven aspects including digital twin/management shell, artificial intelligence, digital safety and life cycle management, information safety, condition monitoring and preventive maintenance, industrial network communication and edge computing, as well as application cases.
