Xinjiang Petroleum Administrative Bureau(XPAB) is the largest petroleum corporation in the west of China and a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation(CNPC). It’s headquarter is located in Karamay city at Xinjiang. XPAB was born in the 1950’s with the development of oilfield in Karamay, was chiefly responsible for exploration and development of crude oil in the Junggar basin, Tarim basin and Tu-Ha basin in Xinjiang, and is a integrative large-scale state-owned enterprise from the upstream to downstream covering such businesses as geologi-
