Interference Margin Estimation in DL Link Budget Calculations for 5G Communication Systems

摘要
The estimation of the interference margin is an important parameter to consider when planning a 5G network. It denotes the safety margin included in the overall maximum allowable path loss and is taken into consideration for mitigating interference arising from signals of neighboring or adjacent cells. In this work, we perform simulations and calculations to estimate the interference margin of a 5G communication system. The results obtained confirm the importance of addressing link budget calculations in 5G systems, especially in situations where maintaining seamless network coverage is essential.
